While THREE BROTHERS were growing up playing air guitar along to some of the world’s biggest rock bands, TWO BEST FRIENDS not too far away were helping each other discover the same kind of music. It was only a matter of time before the five of them ended up working together, grabbed by the ENERGY of their idols and driven to create their own HIGH-OCTANE show to captivate today’s audiences. That show is BAD ACTRESS and they want to be part of the reason people keep going to see live music.

“The guys that everyone’s talking about . . .Bad Actress as a live entity are simply peerless.” John Craig (Forged in Fire Promotions)

“. . . from Scotland and quite possibly the best band the country has produced since Nazareth” Kev White (Where the Music Does the Talking)

“Loud, energetic and exciting. Five young musicians who come together to secure the future of Next Generation Rock.” Tina Sherwood (Forge Ahead Initiative)

“Just been f****n blown away by Bad Actress, absolutely amazing, entertaining as f**k” Nick Shane (Nick Shane TV) 2 3

“These young lads from the Highlands put on a show that will leave you wanting more . . . True Superstars.” Evelyn Barr (Emerging Rock – ERB Radio)

“. . . the fun-loving live gig atmosphere of the 80s, taking it to the modern era and injecting some adrenaline fuelled stage antics.” Inverness Gigs

Chopperhead will be joining Bad Actress at our December Rock Night!

Chopperhead return to the music scene after not playing  since March 2020 due to COVID and  their lead guitarist virtuoso Martin being out of action due to a hand injury.  They are well known as a great rock cover band throughout Dumfries and Galloway. Mick's  banter will keep you entertained between songs and the musicianship of the band will wanting you begging for more! Check out a wee performance of the boys a wee while ago! Audience participation is a must!

Sat Nav can take you on weird and wonderful routes to Newton Stewart. Stay on the main roads and motorways. Follow the A75 from Dumfries following the signs for Stranraer until you reach Newton Stewart is best.
