Whether you're new to Singing teaching or just need a refresh on great practice, this one day workshop explores theory and practice through engaging activities and professional conversations. Facilitated by Louisa Roberts, Head of Educational Programmes and Training for Stagecoach Performing Arts, the session supports excellence in teaching vocal development and musicianship skills with young people.

Louisa is a singer and vocal specialist with an extensive educational background as a Head of Department of Performing Arts inUK Primary and Secondary Schools and most recently as an Assistant Headteacher. As a trained practitioner in Kodály methodology, she studied musicianship through voice under David Vinden at the British Kodály Academy. Facilitating continuing professional development previously as an Area Leader with Trinity College London, Guildhall, The Open University, Assessment and Qualifications Alliance (AQA), Sing for Pleasure, the Voices Foundation and music hubs, she has facilitated workshops, mentored and supported teachers, education leaders and performers throughout the world for over 20 years. She sings Soprano in a number of chamber vocal ensembles including Sine Nomine International Touring Choir and The Joyful Company of Singers.
