Scottish singer Claire Hastings & guitarist Ron Jappy perform a special Christmas concert to get us all in the mood for the festive season.

Glasgow based folksinger, songwriter, ukulele player and guitarist Claire Hastings has made a name for herself on the folk scene since winning BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year in 2015.
Since then she has toured throughout the UK, Europe and New Zealand as a solo artist, with The Claire Hastings Band and Top Floor Taivers, and has shared the stage with the likes of Lulu, Jamie Cullum, Deacon Blue and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
Claire’s debut album ‘Between River and Railway’ was released in 2016 to critical acclaim. ("Exquisite" SONGLINES) Her much-awaited second album ‘Those Who Roam’, launching at Celtic Connections 2019, features traditional and original songs under the theme of journeys.

The Vault Arts Centre is located in the former bank building at 40 Victoria Street, Newton Stewart, between Boots Chemists (to the right) and Avocet (to the left).
A regular bus service (X75/500) runs through Newton Stewart, with stops on Victoria Street just a short walking distance from the venue.Parking is available on Victoria Street, however we recommend parking at Riverside Car Park, on Riverside Road, in order to reduce congestion. Riverside Car Park is within a short walking distance of the venue.
