Specifically aimed at Stagecoach Teachers (Early Stages & Main Stages), Managers and Principals, this three hour exploration (with one hour of personal reflection and development off-line) helps to develop skills in supporting collaborative (and fun!) face to face and online learning.

Whether you're new to Stagecoach teaching or would just like a refresh on great practice, this remote workshop explores will develop your confidence in welcoming all students regardless of ability or disability to support excellence in inclusive performing arts teaching and learning!

Subjects covered in this session include:

  • Communicating with parents
  • Transition strategies
  • Supporting students with disabilities and health conditions
  • Difficult conversations
  • The Principal as your support
  • Maximising the use of the teaching assistant

Louisa Roberts B.Ed. (Hons) FRSA FCCT

Stagecoach Performing Arts Head of Educational Programmes and Training 

Louisa has an extensive educational background as an Early Years specialist, Music Teacher and Head of Department in UK schools and most recently as an Assistant Headteacher. Her musical studies have included violin, viola, piano and voice. As a trained practitioner in Kodály methodology, she studied musicianship under David Vinden at the British Kodály Academy. She sings Soprano in a number of chamber vocal ensembles including Sine Nomine International Touring Choir and The Joyful Company of Singers

Facilitating continuing professional development and mentor training previously as an Area Leader with Trinity College London, Guildhall, The Open University, Assessment and Qualifications Alliance (AQA), Sing for Pleasure, the Voices Foundation and music hubs, she has devised and delivered workshops, mentored and supported teachers, education leaders and performers and directed children's choirs throughout the world for over 20 years.
