The Divorce Day Marathon (inc 7 and 14 miles) 2022

You are hereby invited to The Divorce Day Marathon (and half)...

Entries are now open for the 3rd running of this awesome race taking part in Coalport (not the railway line route) on the new route taking in part of the Silkin Way, Rough Park and the Valley of Ironbridge. The race will take place on Saturday 11th June and will start at 9am.  The Marathon will consist of 3 laps and the half marathon 2 laps.   Mixture of paths and tracks. This was such a cracking event in 2019, that we just had to continue the party!

Fancy dress is highly recommended and Top hats and tiara’s should really be mandatory 😆 Please note you do not have to run with your partner if you dont want to. 

The race will start with speeches and confetti. Bubbles and medal to all finishers.

All profits from this race will go towards enabling us to purchase a AED Defibrillator for our races, to increase your safety when you run with us.

We have been involved in event management for over 15 years working on all race distances from 5K’s right up to Ultra Marathons. We are actively involved in the course build of numerous OCR’s that take place in the UK. When we launched How Hard Can it be Events, we wanted to make running events fun and put on events that we would want to take part in ourselves. That is why we have worked hard to host smaller, friendlier events, where people can relax and get to know people and enjoy the whole running experience. We think this philosophy is what makes us stand out from the crowd.
