Since their debut demo in 2017, Tiderays have released two singles. In July 2018 they released ‘The Anchor’, engineered and produced by Rod Jones (Idlewild) at Post Electric Studios, Leith, Scotland. The Anchor was played extensively across digital networks and was featured by Jim Gellatly on Amazing Radio.
In October 2018, they released ‘Papillon’. Engineered and produced by Dave Miller (Electric Fields, Big Burns Supper, ONR.) at Circa 16 Recording Studios in Dumfries. This has been picked up by both digital and FM stations in Scotland and around the UK. It received Jim Gellatly’s ‘Track of the Day’ on Amazing Radio in November and then was featured on the BBC Introducing Mixtape by Tom Robinson on BBC Radio 6 Music.
On 16th December 2018, they received the accolade of ‘Artist of the Week’ by Born to be Wide in The Scotsman newspaper in partnership with The Association of Independent Music.
2019 saw Tiderays tour large parts of the UK, including the north of England and a short tour of Scotland in the winter.
The debut album ‘Moving On’, was released iin November 2019..

The Vault Arts Centre is located in the former bank building at 40 Victoria Street, Newton Stewart, between Boots Chemists (to the right) and Avocet (to the left).
A regular bus service (X75/500) runs through Newton Stewart, with stops on Victoria Street just a short walking distance from the venue.
Parking is available on Victoria Street, however we recommend parking at Riverside Car Park, on Riverside Road, in order to reduce congestion. Riverside Car Park is within a short walking distance of the venue.
