Renowned Gaelic vocalist Rachel Walker and singer/instrumentalist Aaron Jones celebrate amazing Scottish women as they present their powerful new album ‘Despite The Wind And Rain’. Together, the duo create an inventive blend of traditional and contemporary music which showcases stories of inspirational women throughout Scottish history and celebrates achievement, courage, entrepreneurship and perseverance.

The Vault Arts Centre is located in the former bank building at 40 Victoria Street, Newton Stewart, between Boots Chemists (to the right) and Avocet (to the left).
A regular bus service (X75/500) runs through Newton Stewart, with stops on Victoria Street just a short walking distance from the venue.Parking is available on Victoria Street, however we recommend parking at Riverside Car Park, on Riverside Road, in order to reduce congestion. Riverside Car Park is within a short walking distance of the venue.
