Tulum's local community rely on tourism and many live way below the poverty line. With many months ahead without tourism Botanica have been uniting to help those in dire need. With no money, no support from the government, these communities will have no food, no water, and no access to basic essentials. As the months go by, this will be come an impossible situation for them.

Botanica been providing food and sanitising materials to 150 families that live in one of the most underprivileged areas. Through donations, more than 700 rations of food and hygiene products have been distributed to the population of this particular zone.

Your donation will help deliver essential food, essential needs and psychological support to them during this time.

With around 20 volunteers cooking daily free meals to families who do not have kitchens in their homes or are unable to cook for themselves, such as the elderly.  Offering also free hygienic gel, antiseptic spray, mouth guards, latex gloves and others dietary and basic medical necessities. 

Botanica are also offering education to those who are unaware of the brevity of the COVID 19 problem. As well providing psychological treatment including therapies utilizing ancestral medicines, chiropractic treatment, support groups and any other ways of helping people in whichever way they need.
