Shrewsbury Sports Village
Come and join us on International Charles Darwin Day to celebrate his birthday (216th) and where better than in the town of his birth Shrewsbury.
The event will be held at Shrewsbury Sports Village Sundorne Rd Shrewsbury, Shropshire, United Kingdom SY1 4RQ, on their purpose built cycle track.
The event will have chip timing so you wont have to worry about counting laps, but enjoy the course and the company of the other runners. The event is limited to 150 places and you can chose between 10k, half or full marathon. Very quick course.
Kick off is at 10am, and you will have access to cafe and changing / showers inside the sports village.
Special Darwin medal to all finishers.
We have been involved in event management for over 17 years working on all race distances from 5K’s right up to Ultra Marathons. We are actively involved in the course build of numerous OCR’s that take place in the UK. When we launched How Hard Can it be Events, we wanted to make running events fun and put on events that we would want to take part in ourselves. That is why we have worked hard to host smaller, friendlier events, where people can relax and get to know people and enjoy the whole running experience. We think this philosophy is what makes us stand out from the crowd.
